April 6: What’s Up This Week?

Standard

First, Wednesday I have a big announcement!  It is going to be fun! You’re going to love it (picture jazz hands and someone saying “you’re gonna love it” in a sing-song voice)!

On Tuesday it’s Trish’s Tuesday Tag: Check it out…it’s a sweet oversized spring tag with no-sew fabric, string and a crepe streamer rosette.

Wednesday: BIG announcement!

Throwback Thursday: It’s a new wall hanging made with a silk scarf from the 1940’s. It was my first piece I made…(you will have to check back on Weds to see what I am referencing…

Friday: Art Journal with string, fabric and a rosette.

Saturday: Spring string banner with rosettes and some no-sew fabric.

Do you sense a theme?  Check it out on Wednesday.

March 23: What’s Up This Week?

Standard

Trish’s Tuesday Tag: A springy (that is a word), sweet gift tag or really a tag with a pocket for a little gift.  Whaat? a tag with a  gift pouch? Check it out on Tuesday.

Throwback Thursday, March 26, you are going to meet Mr. & Mrs. Bunny.  They are a darling couple; check them out for a little Easter craft inspiration. Hint: they might be Easter eggs.

Friday, March 27 brings us an art journal page provided I get some decent photos;-) I guess we will call it a surprise!

Saturday: It’s An Easter banner kind of post.  Elegant meets burlap with cool blue accents, glitter and the perfect plaid ribbon.

Have a great week!

Trish

Throwback Thursday: Spring/Easter Tea

Throwback Thursday: Spring/Easter Tea

Hi.  Hello.  Happy almost spring! Some of you know that I am a big fan of afternoon tea.  While I am not inherently a fussy or even a sweet girl, I do love the pomp, tradition and prettiness of afternoon tea.  To that end, a few years back I put together an afternoon spring tea perfect for any of the upcoming spring holidays like Easter, May Day or Mother’s Day or just because spring is a pretty time to sip from a dainty cup and nibble a scrumptious sandwich.

It’s sweet alright but wouldn’t it look so pretty on a table in the garden? Maybe we can wear hats, celebrate and giggle softly while our champagne bubbles and our tea cools.

Enjoy!
